Hi dude, regarding your first question, yes you can fully enjoy games like Harvest Moon or Pokemon as these games are not very demanding. Side scrollers like TMNT are more effected by the low CPU power but still playable 👍🏻 As sd card i can recommend any Sandisk or Samsung card (class 10) up to 64GB is more than sufficient. They cost around 7 - 10 $/€

Hi dude, i recommend using sd cards from known brands such as Samsung or Sandisk. I tested 128GB and 256GB cards with no problems. But actually it doesn‘t make much sense to put such a big card into this device because the systems it can handle (up to snes, and there only a few games) don‘t come with big game sets. So actually i think you‘re totaly fine with a 32GB or 64GB card. I hope that helps ;)

It‘s all fine :) feel free to ask your questions dude. That‘s why i‘m here. You will be absolutely fine with the Ultra version (the cheaper version). There is no need for the Extreme because you will not really benefit from loading times. You can get a 128GB Sandisk Ultra for around 10€ (affiliate link to amazon: amzn.to/47hEEW6) or 64GB for around 7€ (amzn.to/3XjEMQd)

Hey dude, no, most emulators support loading zip-compressed roms (means it unzips it itselfs before loading the rom). This safes some space on your device for the (little) cost of initial loading time. But it‘s almost insignificant. I hope that answers your question ;)

I never recognize it in bright environments but it can be annoying in the dark. Maybe you can work around with a small half-dark sticker? Sorry that‘s the only idea that comes to my mind.

Hi dude, the LED indication is a follows. If the device is turned on the LED turns red. If the device is charged the LED turns green. If the device is on and the device is charged the LED turns amber (red + green). Unfortunately there is no logic that stops the charge. The device always charges when the power cable (USB) is connected. I hope that helps!

Hey dude, i theory YES :) unfortunately these particular models don't support remote services (ssh service) by default, so you can't access them via FTP client :( there are tutorials out there to explain how to instll the services manually, but it needs some deeper linux skills to understand and perform. Unfortunately i don't own one of these devices to make a tutorial video for oyur guys :(

After some googlefu I found that the password is 351elec. Idk if they changed it in a newer update or something but that password worked for me

Hmm, you are using the correct credentials. That's strange. Are you runni gon the stock firmware or some custom firmware? Are you doing this on a original RG351?

Hey dude, sorry to hear about your troubles. Please use balena etcher and flash the sd-card with validation at the end. It works 100% for me any many people. Actually you don't need to change the filesystem to FAT32 since the image comes with its own partitions after the successfull write process. Just ensure you have a solid sd-card brand such as SanDisk or Samsung (are my suggestions). Good luck!

@@BlackLevant uh, many thanks for your feedback dude! Even though i‘m a little confused that this happened. The R36S image was proved many times to work (out of the box). What R36S version do you have? I know the device got released with different versions in the past time (i think it was based on display changes). We don‘t have all versions available to support them all. So if you could somehow tell us what version of the R36S you have would help a lot! ​@MashTec I had the same issue with the black screen so I tried what the person above said. The issue is tho I only had 1 kernel and 1 Linux file on my card that came with the r36s. I moved them over to the new one and replaced the two files and now the console boots up but it's not showing any of the emulators or games? Any ideas?

Hi dude, as far as i know there is no Diablo port existing for the DSi. DevilutionX got ported to many platforms bur not the DSi and there is nothing planned for it. There are alternative/similar games available as GBA titles like Shining Soul 2 that you may want to try? A lot of people raised this question but unfortunately no one ever made a port for it. Any port (if ever) for the GBA could work on your DSi as well. Let‘s hope it might happen once a day :)

I can also recommend BalenaEtcher since it also verifies the write process. Maybe give it a try. Best, use a solid sd card brand. Hi dude, authentication credentials are based on the firmware you use. Different firmware/OS have different credentials. What OS are you running, maybe i can find out the credentials for you.

@@jaysonocampo6472 oh ok, yea that one doesn’t have the ssh service available. So ssh login is not available unless you use a custom firmware. Maybe there is a way to activate the ssh services manually, but i don‘t have the device to figure it out :( Sorry i don‘t have a better answer for you.

Hey dude, that‘s a strange comparison. Both devices are basically very different and can‘t really be compared IMHO. The SF2000 is a retro gaming handheld that is able to play almost all 8bit and 16bit titles. The PlayDate is a new machine running it‘s own games that make use of the unique wrench input of this device. Working on a monochrome display. Very unique games. You wither love it it hate it :)

@@paullopoll54 hey dude, sorry that the image is no longer available :( this project aged a lot meanwhile and i had to remove the image from my server to make space for new stuff. The idea was that the community keeps sharing the image via torrent, but it seems that most of the people already made their steps to some newer generation handhelds like the RG351xx series or later.

Hello dude, thanks for your question. After you applied the boot-fix once, there is no need to do it again for any further firmware updates. It applies to the boot-loader that is independent to the rest of the firmware. I hope that answers your question :)

Hey dude, thanks for this question. If you like to upgrade the ram you have to remove the mainboard as well. But it ain‘t that easy to remove. To answer your question: yes you can replace the Ram, but it only has one slot.

​@@MashTec This mini pc uses "m.2 SATA 3" . It does NOT use "m.2 NVME.". M.2 NVME will NOT work on this.. You have to use m.2 SATA 3.. you can see it on the sticker on the drive. m.2 SATA 3 is much slower then m.2 NVME as well.
